Solar System Live Help: Asteroid and Comet Tracking
Elements for recovered asteroids (those re-observed after their original discovery at a subsequent favourable apparition) and revised elements based upon refinement of an orbit by subsequent observations are published in a slightly different form, with an “Id.” line between the object's name and the epoch of the elements.
Orbital elements for newly discovered and recovered comets are reported in the IAU Circulars.
Note that elements for parabolic comets are in essentially the same form as those for (most) periodic comets, with eccentricity omitted (since it's always 1.0), and the semimajor axis, mean motion, and period dropped since they're meaningless for a parabolic trajectory.

About modification of the INTERBALL orbital elements
For this estimation, we used the initial orbital elements, determined at the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics (KIAM) of Russian Academy of Sciences during the treatment of the inflight SC trajectory measurements.
Obtained orbital elements are presented as a state vectors, which include the SC Cartesian coordinates and velocity components in the J2000 reference.
These modified orbital elements were obtained by means of backward integration of the both probes motion from now up to the launch.

 Orbital Mechanics
Inclination is the angular distance between a satellite's orbital plane and the equator of its primary (or the ecliptic plane in the case of heliocentric, or sun centered, orbits).
The orbital elements discussed at the beginning of this section provide an excellent reference for describing orbits, however there are other forces acting on a satellite that perturb it away from the nominal orbit.
Orbital transfer becomes more complicated when the object is to rendezvous with or intercept another object in space: both the interceptor and the target must arrive at the rendezvous point at the same time.

 Satellite Observing: Orbital Elements
The Keplerian orbital elements define an orbital ellipse around the Earth, orient it three dimensionally, and place the satellite along the ellipse in time.
Orbital elements specify the position of the satellite at a certain time called the epoch.
Now that the orbital plane is oriented in space, then the position of the orbital ellipse in the orbital plane must be defined.
