		Most of the songs on this album run for at least 10 minutes, with the exception of "Requiem", a short acoustic instrumental track, and "Silhouette", a three-minute piano interlude that is played by Anders Nordin.
		The album was released in Europe under Candlelight Records in 1995 and in the United States two years later under Century Media Records.
		The reissue of the album added an early demo of the band recorded during a 1992 rehearsal.

		This album is a great album and one of if not the best debut album ive ever heard.
		The sound of this album is very melodic, heavy, and even sometimes prog and folk influenced with beautiful sometimes even creepy acoustic guitar interludes.
		This is the album that I will listen to until I die; I would force someone to buy a thousand copies of it and bury it with me. This album deserves to be recognized by the entire world.

		Orchid raising is a growing hobby in the United States, and the Reginald S. Davis Orchid Collection likewise is growing in the SDSU Library's Special Collections.
		The library's orchid collection began in 1972 with a donation by Reginald Davis, a member of the San Diego County Orchid Society.
		The orchid collection has received additional attention in the last few years due to its association with the San Diego County Orchid Society.

		In and of itself "Bhakti" is a somber and reflective piece, but in the context of Orchid it enables the listener with the resolve to carry out whatever realizations this journey has fostered.

	SDSUniverse \| Library's Exhibit Wins Awards at Local Orchid Show
		The Reginald S. David Orchid Collection was established in 1972 with the donation by Reginald Davis of 2,000 volumes of books and periodicals on the growing, classification, and description of orchids from around the world.
		At the orchid show, the library had four display cases of materials on exhibit, including some stunning older publications, such as two volumes of The Orchid Album (London, 1882-1897), one volume of Paxton’s Flower Garden (London, 1882), and On the Fertilization of Orchids, by Charles Darwin (Paris, 1870).

	Wild Orchid (band) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Wild Orchid (1991-2004) was an American vocal group, featuring Stacy Ann Ferguson (later of the Black Eyed Peas), Stefanie Ridel and Renee Ilene Sandstrom (two of them transplanted from Kids Incorporated).
		Wild Orchid spent most of 1996-1997 promoting their debut album, making appearances on the Ricki Lake show, Access Hollywood, MTV, RuPaul show, Hard Copy, VIBE and Soul Train, as well as a guest appearance on the UPN sitcom Goode Behavior.
		In late 1997, the group toured with 98 Degrees and NSYNC, and released their second album, Oxygen which included the single "Be Mine." During a performance in New York City, the band invited RandB singer Eric West to appear with the band on stage.

		The album has a kind of dreamlike quality that their later albums don't have.

	Black Orchids! Do they really exist?
		Is there one single orchid that holds the title "The Black Orchid?" I don't think so.
		I will tell you about some of the more unusual orchids such as the ones that grow underground and others that need fire to bloom.
		My orchid has new growth that looks like it should have been blooms, but instead multiple leaves are growing off of the spike.

		Ha, it looks like this album reached #1 on the indie charts and is holding strong at #2 now.
		She isn't a legend yet; and quite frankly I don't think she will EVER become more than another name mentioned when people are already talking or writing about Mariah or Britney.
