		Orchid Island (èå¶¼ LÃ¡n YÇ) is a 45- kmÂ² volcanic island off the eastern coast of Taiwan in the Pacific.
		The island is the homeland to the Yami Taiwanese aborigines, who call the island Ponso no Tao ("the island where we live").
		Lesser Orchid Island (Hsiao Lan YÃ¼; Pinyin : Xiao Lanyu), an uninhabited volcanic islet near the main Orchid Island, is the southernmost point of Taitung County.
