Kutuzov was appointed the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Army 10 days before the Borodino battle, in the end of August, 1812.
Kutuzov had heard all proposals ans said what Russian would nor be lost after the surrender of Moscow and proposed to save the Army and don't give battle, to approach the coming reinforcements and "by surrendering Moscow prepare the death for the enemy".

  Soviet Military Orders
On April 6, 1930, the Order of Lenin, the country's highest decoration, was instituted by an ordinance of the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR.
Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky 1st Class No. 1 was given, by an ordinance of October 26, 1943, to Major-General A.I.Danilov, Commander of the 12th Army of the Third Ukrainian Front, for his part in the liberation of the city of Zaporozhye.
The Order of Victory was intended to be given to top-ranking commanders of the Red Army for a successful operation within the framework of one or several fronts resulting in a radical change of the situation in favour of the Soviet Armed Forces.

The Order of Kutuzov was preserved in Russia upon the dissolution of the USSR, thus remaining to be one of the highest military awards in the Russian Federation.
The Order of Kutuzov was established in three different classes: 1st class, 2nd class, and 3rd class.
Along with the commanders of Fronts and Armies, Order of Kutuzov 1st class was also awarded to Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant in 1945, to recognize the enormous contribution of its workers towards the defeat of the Nazi Germany.

According to paperwork, the order was bestowed on Manogarov I.P. on 5/17/1945.

After the famous conference at the village of Fili, Kutuzov fell back on the strategy of his predecessor: withdraw in order to save the Russian army as long as possible.

On 13 January 1917, by Order No. 1188 of the commander-in-chief of the armies of the Western Front, he was promoted to ensign of army infantry for his military excellence in accordance with Army Order No. 617 from 1914, with seniority to date from the day of promotion.
As commander of the 55th Rifle Regiment in the 7th Rifle Division he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner by Order No. 917 §1 to the forces of the XII Army, dated 21 December 1920 (this award was confirmed by RVSR Order No. 57 in1921).
From May to October 1942 Trubnikov was deputy to the commander of the 16th Army on the Western Front, and from October 1942 to September 1943 deputy commander of the Don Front forces at Stalingrad.

In January 1938, in the Gorelovo settlement near Leningrad, the 19th separate fighter regiment of "free hunters" emerged on the basis of the 58th and 70th fighter squadrons and 33rd reconnaissance squadron, which were part of the 54th light air brigade.
On 3 April 1944 the Supreme Command-in-Chief issued an order under which the regiment was honourably named the Proskurov regiment for heroism and courage displayed in battles for the town of Proskurov.
On 9 August 1944 the USSR Supreme Soviet Presidium issued a Decree under which the regiment received the Order of Alexander Nevsky for the exemplary fulfilment of missions assigned by the Higher Command to break German defences west of Koval and for heroism and courage displayed in the battles.
