	Ori (Stargate) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The Ori can be simply described as ascended beings who disagree with the Ancients' viewpoints about interference with less developed sentient beings, science, and the importance of free will.
		The Ori faced the only real threat to their invasion plans a few weeks later, when the Free Jaffa Nation decided to use the Dakara Superweapon to eradicate the invading armies and thousands of their followers one planet at a time.

		Ori Satelite - This is basically a weapons platform that has one weapon which is very powerful and can literally destroy stargate ships very quickly within 1 - 3 shots at most (more for the more advanced ships).
		This pack contains all of the stargate ships previously released on BC Files, all of which have all been improved in one way or another and de-bugged (well as far as we know), and it also includes a few other things that have not been released before.
		At the moment they do not do much however once the Ori Warship has been made it will be capable of launching the warship through the shuttle launching framework, although it does have MVAM capability to activate and cool sound effects.

	Stargate SG-1: The Fourth Horseman, Part 2 - TV Squad
		The Stargate series, to me, has always been a good episodic Sci-Fi series, in that they had a consistent big bad guy and each episode is a nicely contained unit that I can watch at any given point in syndication and not feel left out if I hadn't seen the previous or later episodes.
		The Ori are a powerful nemesis who started out much like the Goa'uld, who, in the first season (excluding the Stargate movie) we were introduced to.
		Stargate is still a phenomenon in the sci-fi world, and it is fair enough to allow them to create new storylines.

		The Priors and the Ori will probably not come directly to earth and will radher start spreading origin and killing non belivers by some sort of strategy.
		Ori probably already know that people of Tau'ri can disable/weaken priors powers which pretty much means that they must win this battle in old fashioned way.

	Stargate: SG-1 Tenth Season Premiere Episodes Review
		The gates are due to reopen on the SCI FI Channel with the tenth season premiere of “Stargate: SG-1” and the third season premiere of “Stargate: Atlantis” due to air on Friday, July 14, 2006, at 9pm and 10pm (ET/PT) respectively.
		After a slow build up last season leading to the cliffhanger where the Ori begin their crusade to convert or kill every sentient species in our galaxy with their sophisticated ancient technology, which they employ to destroy much of the forces that had aligned to prevent the galactic super gate from opening.
		In it’s tenth season, “Stargate: SG-1” seems to be reinvigorated with new cast members and returning guest stars as well as new enemies and new angles, which could even suggest that perhaps the Ori are not quite the villains they seem to be and there is more to the ancients than meets the eye.

		The baby was created to be the closest thing to an ori in human form, it has all the knowledge of the ori in its head.
		My guess(and this is just a guess as I know nothing about next season) is that the Ori will steal Vala´s baby and that causes her to join SG-1 as she searches the galaxy looking for it.
		The child is an Ori physical manifestation (Ori-human hybrid) and as such she is enemy.

		It's one of the basic precepts of Stargate that stronger races can control weaker ones by reducing the population and technology down to subsistance agriculture.

	Print Page - Stargate SG1 and Atlantis-Anyone else watching
		The only unfortunate thing was that I saw Stargate before Atlantis so the bench mark had been set pretty high. All in all an amazing year for both series. Long may they run (unlike some other shows - thinks of Charmed - that should have stopped on a high last year).
		Meanwhile Weir is being reprimanded at Stargate Command by Woolsey for some of her decisions in season 2.
		This episode was also the end for Dakara and a lot of the Jaffa also but it was their own fault because they started attacking the Ori and a lot of innocent people that the Ori captured on Ori conquered planets.

		Though there are those who see the Ori as metaphorical for the Religious Right, and the Ascended Ones as the old line Republicans.
		Something different-the Ori lose.One big difference-no deaths of characters.Read some posts either on The Force.net under its Science Ficton/fantasy TV board under Jedi Council or the Stargate site itself.
		I'd think it'd be cool to see the Ori win and have the remnants of humanity evacuate to Atlantis, and then fighting a three-way Atlantis-Wraith-Ori war.
