Orlando Anderson was a well known 22 year old crip from the south side of Compton, who many believe although not necessarily directly responsible for Tupac's death, was the cause of it.
Orlando Anderson was arrested by Compton police on October 2 and held for questioning, but they couldn't find any substantial evidence to link him to the murder and he was released.
Anderson told the police that Suge was part of the beating, then reversed his testimony on the witness stand.

Keep It REAL: Afeni Shakur vs. Orlando Anderson
On Sept. 7, 1996, Anderson was involved in a fist-fight with Tupac Shakur and his entourage at Las Vegas's MGM Grand Hotel shortly before Shakur was gunned down in a drive-by shooting.
Although Anderson is not considered a suspect in the murder by the Las Vegas Police Department, Afeni Shakur believes he had a role in her son's death.
Notwithstanding this knowledge, Anderson in wanton, reckless and/or grossly negligent disregard of the safety of Tupac, discharged his weapon in the direction of the vehicle in which Tupac was riding, shooting Tupac, causing him severe and serious injuries and death several days thereafter.
