		Albion is the county seat of Orleans County, New York and is about 30 miles west north-west of the City of Rochester, New York.
		Albion is the center of the Medina sandstone industry, and lies in the midst of a good farming region, of which it is the principal shipping point, especially for apples, cabbages and beans.
		Albion is the location of Albion Correctional Facility, one of the two New York State prisons used for females.
