		Orphaned Land is an Oriental metal band from Israel.
		Orphaned Land is in the core a Doomdeath band, but it was highly infuenced by the folk music and tradition of the Oriental Jews (Sepharadim).
		Their second album El Norra Alila (1996) Orphaned Land elaborated the combination of metal and oriental music, including the addition of song with traditional oriental Jewish piyyut and Arab melodies.

		Orphaned Land enlisted the help of a ton of people for the recording of "Mabool", and it shows.
