		Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine and Eskisehir Chapter of the Neuroscience Society of Turkey (NST)
		In Eskisehir, Turkey, Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine organised three public lectures addressing Brain Health, Febrile Seizures in Children, and Anger Management, and three interactive events for pre-school and primary school students.
		The pre-school activities included a drawing exercise and a discussion about the importance of exercise for the brain, while the elementary school students participated in an interactive lecture entitled Brain and Sense Organs, led by the Brain Team-2004 (22 volunteer medical students).

		According to the decision by the Osmangazi Municipal Assembly, taken by majority of vote, permission would not be granted to places to sell alcohol on Birinci Murat, Cemal Nadir, Cumhuriyet, Darmstad, Demiryolu, Gazcilar, Hasim Iscan, Kibris Sehitleri, Kukurtlu, Oulu, Temiz and Zubeyde Hanim Avenues and Ankara Yolu, Mudanya Yolu, Pembe Carsi and Degirmen Streets.

		Sexual health for adolescent is based on three components: recognizing sexual rigths, sexually education and counselling, and confidential, highquality services.
		Objectives:The objective of this study is to identify the knowledge, attitude and behaviors of the students, who have recently started their higher education at Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, on family planning and sex education.
		Design and Methods:A survey questionnaire composed of 52 items was distributed to freshman students at Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine in the first month of their education before they had any training on this issue in order to determine the level of knowledge of adolescents on reproductive health.

		The Osmangazi Municipality has decided to gather places that sell liquor to a region outside the city center.
		Kenan Kir, the Economy head of the Osmangazi Municipality said he was sure the practice would stay in place: "Even if the Metropolitan Mayor vetoes the decision taken by the municipal assembly, the decision will still be implemented since it was taken by majority of vote."
		Journalist Ozcan Yazici, a former head of the Bursa Contemporary Journalists' Association, does not believe that the Osmangazi Municipality implemented the practice for "public wellbeing" or due to "complaints." According to Yazici, it is the lack of places that sell alcohol, which causes unrest, rather than their presence.
