As requested by letter to the Ossining village board on April 9, 2002 and earlier, the process should be suspended and a Supplemental DEIS should be prepared and circulated, based upon the present proposal (as presented 12/1/7/01) and not the earlier ones.
According to the town of Ossining supervisor, no arrangement for or discussion of same has been made, even though the town is the reputed owner of such lands.

OSSINING -- In a stunning reversal of its previous stand, a state Public Service Commission official opened a hearing last night by saying the agency will now support a local plan that would see a natural-gas pipeline placed along the Taconic State Parkway in northern Westchester.
Earning the applause of a large crowd in the Ossining High School auditorium, John Zekoll, the PSC's deputy director of gas and water, said the commission's memorandum of understanding would be expanded to recommend the route widely supported and pushed for by local government officials and residents.
"After receiving a letter from the village and town of Ossining, Briarcliff Manor and Croton, we toured the area and found, with a little modification, this to be an acceptable route for the pipeline," he said.
