The Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation is a charity and Registered Social Landlord which provides housing and enabling services to disabled and homeless ex-Service personnel and other people with disabilities.
The Foundation was established by theatre impresario Sir Oswald Stoll in 1916 for soldiers suffering permanent injury from the First World War.

Oswald Stoll was to become one of the most prolific theatre builders and owners ever, individually and in partnership with other theatre owners of the day, most famously with Edward Moss.
Stoll promptly forms a new company, The Coliseum Syndicate, and with an injection of new capital re-opens the Coliseum in 1907, halving the number of daily shows from four to two and putting on 'respectable variety' for families.
Stoll was forced to postpone his opening twice: first the enormous technical difficulties of rehearsing four complicated shows a day forced him to postpone for 48 hours (until 21 December); second a dense London fog combined with continuing chaos on stage obliged him to postpone until 24 December.

The Stoll Film Company was formed in April 1918 with the intention of distributing British films both here and abroad.
Early in 1919 Stoll acquired the sole UK rights to the prized Goldwyn Star films, but claims by Stoll of non-fulfillment of contract led to an immediate, but brief, boycott of the films by the C. The resulting complicated legal wrangle was finally settled out of court, but not until 1923.
