Oswaldtwistle must have thought they had the game won, but they had not counted on the returning Dave Howard who had missed the last 5-6 weeks due to a knee injury.
Oswaldtwistle were all out for 57 and Wanderers claimed the full 7 points.

The Oswaldtwistle Mill is worked under the name of the Oswald Manufacturing Co. but the proprietary is practically the same as the Haslingden Mill.

yikes, I live near Oswaldtwistle, I always knew it was a wild (west) sort of place.
Might have been even funnier if the shop had been in the next town to this which is called CHURCH!

Only one real reason for a tourist to visit Oswaldtwistle and that's the mill shop.
Other than that Oswaldtwistle is an innofensive little town with some nice looking pubs - but they were closed this early on a Sunday morning, so I can't tell you much about them.
