The many faces of Otara are attracting attention in New Zealand and Australia in exhibitions by Manukau Institute of Technology's Manukau School of Visual Arts lecturers James Pinker and Mark McLean.
South is a photographic exhibition by the two lecturers which features images shot in a portable studio in Otara in 2003.
The resulting photographic exhibition was originally only going to be exhibited at Otara's Artnet Gallery for two weeks, but its popularity has snowballed and two years later the work is still being shown.
