Otavalo was a great experience, and a fun way to spend a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of Quito.
Otavalo is the bigger permanenent town and has the greater prosperity and variety of tourist-oriented businesses.
There, I managed to catch one of the Otavalo inter-province buses (these are probably the best bets for most tourists, since they go directly into the town of Otavalo instead of dropping you off on the highway outside town, as is the case if you take the Ibarra bus).
