		We highlight the salient features of the 1763 crisis, propose a stylized model of the events, and draw parallels between the events of 1763 and 1998.
		The potentially devastating effects of liquidity risk, the limits to hedging and financial engineering, and the importance of timely crisis management by the authorities are all lessons that have currency today as they did in 1763.

		The obvious distraction to others due to an incoming call and the resulting conversation.
		We take the privacy of others VERY seriously, and although there have been no reported incidents of this possible abuse, nor is 1763 aware of any, like any good dungeon rule, this is being instituted to help prevent a possible future "incident".

		Their essays consisted of little more than a long “laundry list” of events from 1763-1775, and their (implied) analysis was that all of these polarizing, unsettling events added up to a revolution.
		Under each, I ask them to list at least three events, acts, or institutions that fit under that heading, and to include a sentence that justifies their inclusion of each event in their chart.
		Instead, the conflict between 1763 and 1775 was based more on the colonists’ mistrust of the British government and its intentions.

		1763 Sir George Baker, physician at the court of king George in England, published the treatisse: "Concerning the Cause of the Endemial Colic of Devonshire." Cider presses with lead fittings proved to be the culprit.
		It was first surveyed in 1763 to 1767 by two British astronomers, Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon, in order to settle a dispute between the Calvert and Penn families, the owners at that time of the two states in question.
		The captain and five of the soldiers were acquitted, the other two soldiers were found guilty of manslaughter and were branded on the hand with a hot iron.

		Spain had entered the war between France and England on the side of France, and the new world French who still controlled the Louisiana and Mississippi River region were rumored to be hoping to reclaim the Great Lakes forts that Canada had capitulated.
		Proof of Indian ownership of the land survives in deeds to land south of the River (in Essex County, Ontario) made out to a few settlers in September 1765 by Pontiac in the presence of Croghan.
