Other items include a visitors register (1899-1918), cashbook (1908-1910 and 1903-1905), general ledger (1902-1907), a photo album from the 1924 match at St. Charles Club in Winnipeg, and a Remembrance Book of World War II dead.

His other major expeditions included a three month return to Labrador in 1912, several mountaineering and mapping trips to the Canadian Rockies, and some extended tours of the Canadian Rockies, South America, Java, and Indochina, usually working in mountaineering.
Beginning in 1899, he conducted an extensive series of experiments to test the course and speed of circum-polar currents at minimal risk to the safety of investigators, setting loose a bevy of "drift-casks" and monitoring where they drifted.
Other material pertaining to arctic exploration in the 19th century is located in the papers of Elisha Kent Kane, Isaac Hayes, and William Parker Foulke.

Many of the letters 1828-1847 were written by Mary Owen Dean in Spartanburg, S.C., and her husband Hosea G. Dean while she tended the farm and he traveled on business.
In 1851-1852, Hosea wrote of legislative and other events in Columbia, S.C., where he served as clerk of the South Carolina House of Representatives.
Among the letters not relating to genealogy are a few in 1926 that show that the Simpsons had moved from Spartanburg to Greensboro, N.C., where John worked for the Atlantic Bank and Trust Company and served as vice president of the North Carolina Bankers' Association.

In other words the farther to the past or the farther to the past he traveled, the less likely it was to be any where near his historical reality.
These events appear to be a sort of "copycat" case, mirroring the 1891 events of The Phantom of the Opera/The Canary Trainer.
