		While the special effects mostly consist of computer-generated fogs and mists, they contribute immensely to the overall effect of the film.
		More unsettling than out-and-out scary, “The Others” can still induce some dandy nightmares, so although it is only rated PG-13, I would strongly recommend that it not be viewed by younger children — Heck, my little sister is 42 years old and she had bad dreams for a week after watching it.
		I give the film 5 stars, but the two-disc set only warrants four.
