The township has Rice Lake as its southern boundary and its western boundary is the Otonabee River, on the north is Douro Township and to the east is Asphodel Township.
Sometime around 1823-5 a saw mill was built on the east side of the river and a log house on the west side.

If the "Otonabee River (Which flows first into Rice Lake then Lake Ontario by another river named Trent)" then it can't be a tributary of a creek like indicated, right?
Both Rice Lake and the Otonabee River are part of the Trent-Severn system.
The section referred to is not the Trent River, it is part of the Trent Canal.

There is a white church probably about a mile or two from the marker bouys towards the river and if you fish about 100 to 250 yards from shore it seems to be a great spot for walleye and perch, We`ve always had great luck with the fishing in this spot.

The Senecas were responsible for the defeat of the Hurons in 1649-50 at Huronia but did not seem to remain anywhere in Ontario as they seem to have preferred their home territory or trade relations to the west - leaving Ontario to the whims of the Mohawks.
Another branch of the Arendarhonon tribe, which did not join the Huron Confederacy, were the Neutral Iroquois who controlled the north shore of Lake Ontario from Ajax to Niagara and as far west as London on the Thames River and as far north as Huronia.
The Arendarhonon 'town' of "Ganatsekwyagon", as noted on "Joliet's Map of 1673", is not located at the mouth of the Rouge River.
