Greek Mythology: HARMONIA Naiad Nymph of the Amazons on the Black Sea
HARMONIA was perhaps the NAIAS NYMPHE of the spring, well or fountain of the Akmonian wood, near Thermiskyra, the legendary town of the Amazones tribe on the Black Sea coast of Anatolia.
She was loved by the god Ares and bore him the first generation of the tribe of Amazones (or just the tribe's first queens and princesses, such as Otrera).
Alternatively Harmonia might have been one of those Nymphai called Meliai (of the ash-tree), from whose wood the first spears were crafted.
