The Ottawa Carleton District School Board is a group of 14 trustees elected to oversee education in the city of Ottawa, Ontario.
The board was created in 1998, prior to the creation of the Ottawa megacity, out of the Ottawa Board of Education and the Carleton Board of Education.
It is a merger of the Ottawa Board of Education, that used to cover the old city of Ottawa, Vanier and Rockcliffe Park, and the Carleton Board of Education that covered the outer suburbs.

The Ottawa Technical Learning Centre is an Ottawa-Carleton District School Board high school in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
The school opened in 1973 and was one of several vocational schools operated by the Ottawa Board of Education.
Around this time, all the other vocational schools in Ottawa were closed or converted into standard high schools.

The Learning Centre has numerous resources that are available to students, faculty and staff.
We don't mind if people want to eat and drink in the Learning Centre provided that they are 1) careful not to spill any liquid or food particles around equipment, and 2) clean-up after themselves.
