But let’s accept for a moment that the Mythology is valid the way it is, and the ancients decided to keep Ouranos and Cronos and Zeus in the mythology for other reasons- accept that they were trying to show us another, deeper divine reality with these stories, beyond just changing tribal politics from long ago.
The Primal, Moving Force of the "Father" Ouranos is still there; it has evolved, and become entangled in space/time and duality, which is the expressed "universe system", and which leads to awareness of duality, or consciousness.
On one hand, a person can look at history and surmise that the Titans represent older divinities, which were “replaced” by the Gods of incoming tribes and groups of people- the mythology written by the newcomers and victors could easily reflect a “cosmic takeover” from the older Gods to their Gods.

Like Cronus, Sailor Saturn wields a big scythe-like object, and although I said that the death/destruction/rebirth theme behind Sailor Saturn is very much a Scorpio/Pluto thing, the way Cronus deposed his father and was in turn deposed by his son does kind of represent the cycle of destruction and beginning anew, of death and rebirth.
