		Ourte is de naam is de naam van een voormalig departement in de Nederlanden.
		Hoewel het departement naar de rivier de Ourthe genoemd is werd het officieel als Ourte geschreven, ofwel een schrijffout, ofwel een poging een nieuwe Franse schrijfwijze in te voeren.
		Het werd gevormd in 1795 bij de annexatie van de Zuidelijke Nederlanden met het kernstuk van het prinsbisdom Luik, het prinsdom Stavelot-Malmedy, het hertogdom Limburg en stukjes van het hertogdom Luxemburg), het graafschap Namen en het hertogdom Brabant.
