	Nirvana: Never Fade Away
		The problem with the "Outcesticide" series, and most bootleg releases in general, is the huge amount of mislabels.
		On the "Outcesticide" cover the track is listed as being recorded in June 1989, which is wrong.
		The version of this song available on this "Outcesticide" disc is a weird, unfinished mix of the regular version of the song, where the guitar is cut out in the middle of the song Unfortunately, the song is cut in the beginning.

		Though the title is "Outcesticide in memory of KURT COBAIN" this review often refers to the title as "Outcesticide 1".
		The Outcesticide series is the best known bootleg Nirvana series in existence and carries a name recognition second only to Nirvana's official releases.
		The "Remastered Edition" is a significant sound quality upgrade from the original Outcesticide I release as the tracks were taken from a better source (the original pressing came from cassette sources with lots of hiss, the best that was available at that time).

		The second Outcesticide bootleg of Nirvana material consists mainly of live versions of unavailable tracks (like their hilarious cover of the Doors' "The End") and early live versions of some of their best known songs (like a 1991 recording of the In Utero track "Pennyroyal Tea").
		The sound quality is mixed, at best, but some of the versions available are indispensable to Nirvana fans.

		The Final Solution (the third installment of their Outcesticide series) does a good job of balancing the obscure with the well-known, and live versions with studio takes.
		There are five Outcesticide bootlegs in all, and this is not the best one.
		Not the best of the Outcesticides (that honor probably goes to the first disc in the series), but definitley invaluable in filling in those holes in your collection (at least until Courtney allows the box-set to finally see the light of day...)
