	Lost (TV series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Lost is an American drama television series that follows the survivors of a plane crash on a mysterious tropical island, somewhere in the South Pacific.
		The series began development in January 2004, when the then-head of ABC, Lloyd Braun, ordered an initial script that was based on an idea he claimed to have had for quite a while.
		There have been a number of instances in which the survivors encounter animals that are either not native to the island or have special attributes.
