	Slide 8 of 25 - Shields Boulevard Overpass in Moore, Oklahoma
		The second fatality occurred at the Shields Boulevard overpass at its junction with Interstate 35 in the City of Moore.
		In the photo near the shadow of the overpass is someone looking for the woman's body; they found the body shortly after the photo was taken.
		The events at the Shields Boulevard overpass are quite frightening and clearly illustrate many of the ‘non-weather’ issues of why this practice is so egregious.

		The construction of wildlife overpasses along the Trans Canada Highway began in the mid 1980s with the twinning of the highway from the east park entrance to the junction with the Bow Valley Parkway.
		It was this research that led to the building of two overpasses during the second phase of highway twinning.
		The overpasses were built because early research indicated that underpasses were not effective for large carnivores.

		Starting Wednesday, Sept. 22, northbound traffic will be redirected to one lane of the southbound road while crews work on the overpass, reducing southbound traffic to one lane as well.
