Overton County parents upset that their children were filmed undressing in school locker rooms have filed suit, charging that school officials allowed surveillance cameras to be installed and then failed to secure the images.
A student from an Overton County elementary in Allons was visiting Livingston for an interscholastic basketball game in early January and noticed a ''suspicious device'' in a locker room.
The company that installed the security cameras in several Overton County schools, including Livingston, also was named in the lawsuit.

He appears to reside in eastern Overton Co. in the 1830, 1840 and 1850 census, but by 1860, his widow Anna (what is her last name?) and family have moved to the Hilham vicinity.
We've found an older James Robbins, born c1775, enumerated in the 1820 and 1830 census of Overton Co. He was married to an Elizabeth Pennington whose father Levi Pennington made his will in 1807 in Spartanburg Co., South Carolina.
JAMES ROBBINS (son of LEVI) was born October 22, 1828 in West Fork, Overton Co.,TN, and died December 10, 1908 in Gray, Overton Co., TN.

 Swallows of Overton County, Tennessee
Mahala had siblings but I have been unable to find out their names (one of the rumors is that two of her sisters ran a house of ill repute after or during the Civil War, and someone has told me there are records of this in the Overton Co.., courthouse).
Jacob W. Swallows and his wife Anna Bilbrey ran a "boarding house" in Overton County, rumored to be the a house of ill repute.
It is then for considerance by the court that the defendant go hence and that the County of the Overton pay the cost of this prosecution when properly taxed and certified.
