Based on an authenticated photocopy of Republic Act No. 321 from the National Library records, the correct spelling of this city's name is "Ozamiz."
RA 321 is the law that granted the city its charter that took effect July 16, 1948.
The city council passed a resolution urging all individuals and institutions to spell the city's name correctly.

And, 75% are (Farm to Market Road) Barangay Roads that links or serves as an easy access of the people as well as the products that came from the 9,093 hectares of agricultural land area of the city and its neighboring barangays.
