Spike, a young jumbo, started a nasty confrontation by sticking some of his legs in the air as if saying "Im a bigger crab, Yo Moma!" Although my strawberry was twice his size it didnt seem to matter.
By the way I have Iso'd crabs for past aggresion before, but spike is my friendliest crab (to people at least) and I hate to see him live in Isolation all his life.
I might consider isoing him now that he is warm and used to the surroundings but spike has proved to be aggressive even as the new guy.

I found this exoskeleton of my hermit crab after it had molted and put it on my scanner and scanned it and then uploaded the image to my web site and then downloaded the image to this board.
Someone said he had a few of these hermits in his tank and it was a fl and white hermit but I would need to do research on it!
You have one of the striped hermits, probably Phimochirus or could be Paguristes.
