 Pacific Islanders Team for November tour
Sakopo Lolohea, who remains the Chairman of the Pacific Islands Rugby Alliance Board (PIRA) although he has retired as CEO of the Tonga Rugby Union, said on September 29 that the selected team consists of 12 players from Samoa, nine from Fiji and seven from Tonga.
The team was selected on September 16 by coach Pat Lam from New Zealand and assisted by Adam Leach of Tonga, Michael Jones of Samoa and Wayne Pivac of Fiji.
The combined Pacific Islanders rugby team will assemble in London on October 29, and will play their first test match against Wales on November 11, followed by Scotland on November 18 and Ireland on November 26.
