| | Pacific Science Center to show parts of Dead Sea Scrolls |
 | | The Science Center has reached an agreement with the Israel Antiquities Authority to bring roughly 10 segments of the scrolls, ranging from 2-foot-wide pieces to small fragments, to Seattle, said Bryce Seidl, president and CEO of the Science Center. |
 | | The Seattle exhibit is being created in conjunction with The Discovery Place science and history center in Charlotte, N.C. The two centers will create many of the displays together and share the cost of building the expensive, secure and technically advanced cases for displaying the scrolls. |
 | | He said the center still needs to raise $1.2 million to put on the exhibit, which is scheduled to run from Sept. 20, 2006, through Jan. 7, 2007. |
