A walk down the Pader. a jpoc day out suggestion
Perhaps a better place to start is the point at which the river crosses under the Paderwall as from this point, you are walking in parkland all of the time.
The river flows through a landscape that varies from manicured grass and trees to artificial "wild nature." In the latter, if you keep your eyes open, you may see rabbits and pheasants as well as a variety of waterfowl and the occasional red squirrel, water rat and weasel or even large birds of prey.
Here the river splits in two again and, keeping the water on your left, you can continue downstream through a slightly wilder park.

After analyzing plant operations and operating man hours and operating costs, it was determined that the costs could be substantially reduced and sludge handling increased by switching from incineration and land filling of ash to further concentrating and disposing of sludge at the landfill.
