| | IRC The IRC in Uganda |
 | | The overall aim of IRCâs health program is to reduce excess mortality and morbidity among internally displaced populations in Kitgum, Pader and Lira Districts. |
 | | Over 1.6 million people within the districts of Gulu, Kitgum, Pader, Lira, Apac, Soroti, Katakwi, Kaberamaido and Adjumani are displaced, partly as a result of a Government strategy to relocate people into âprotected villagesâ. |
 | | With an overall objective to improve the quality of life for refugees, internally displaced and other victims of armed conflict and oppression, IRC Uganda began working in Kitgum and Pader Districts in 1998 in response to the immense needs of children who had escaped the LRA. |
