Although “Padre Coraje” marked the beginning of a new age of the classical telenovela, distancing itself from the common trend of the last decade in the local television, the love story played by Facundo Arana and Nancy Duplaa was put off.
All along its 189 episodes, “Padre Coraje” was inspired enough as to not fall into the traps of focusing on solely rendering a portrayal of the complex era of the ’50 in Argentina.
Producing a classic telenovela such as Padre Coraje was a very complex process, not only in terms of locations and clothes, but also considering the costs of the project.”, emphasized Facundo Arana, who embodied the village hero of the fiction.

Based on real facts, `Padre Coraje' tells the story of how a father refuses to rest until those who murdered his son are bought to justice.
And therein lies the crux of the matter: Andalucía is not all beautiful beaches and modern hotels and sun, sand, sea and blue skies; there is far more to it, and `Padre Coraje' shows us the seamier side of life in marginal suburbs populated by the most varied `down-and-outs' - drug-addicts, traffickers, prostitutes, winos, thieves..
It is said that every man should plant a tree, write a book and have a son before he dies: with `Padre Coraje' Benito Zambrano has achieved all three together.

Rtvi (the channel that Padre Coraje is on) didn't buy the concluding episodes of the show.
They did the same thing with Culpable de este amore, however, they were only missing 20 episodes from that show (as opposed to the 49 they don't have from Padre) and they aquired them due to public demand.
The channel saved the new episodes of Culpable to show them when their episodes of Padre Coraje ran out in order to lessen public condemnation.

The diversification of production began with a number of "Docusoaps" and, at the end of the year, Tesamún began work on "Padre Coraje", a fictional miniseries for Antena 3.
