Pagudpud, according to Gonzales, has the highest number of home-stay facilities that offer billeting services to tourists after the municipality’s established hotels and resort proved incapable of handling a huge volume of tourism traffic during peak seasons.
Aside from Pagudpud, Gonzales said the DOT is also eyeing possible home-stay programs in Paoay, Ilocos Norte where tourists frequently visit the famous Paoay Church and the Abel Iluko weaving industry.

The Asian Human Rights Commission deeply regrets to inform you that two more human rights activists, namely Jose Manegdeg III of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte and Albert Terredano of Sinapangan, Bangued Abra, both on the islands of Luzon, Philippines were slain in separate incidents on November 28 and 29 respectively.
Manegdeg had just alighted from a tricycle he was riding when a gunman, who emerged from a van, approached him and repeatedly shot him.  The tricycle driver who was in the area during the shooting, sped off for fear of his life.
I am shocked to learn that two more activists, namely Jose Manegdeg III of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte and Albert Terredano of Sinapangan, Bangued Abra, both from Luzon were killed in separate incidents on 28 and 29 November 2005 respectively.

i called the tourism office in ilocos norte and they sent me through fax a list of resorts and budget accommodation in pagudpud, pasuquin and currimao.
My officemates who earlier went to Pagudpud via Rajan complained that for most of the trip, there was no aircon in the bus.
If I'm not mistaken, Rajan has three trips daily to Pagudpud; the earlierst trip (I could be wrong) is on one of their older buses.

Senior Inspector Jeffrey Gorospe, chief of the Investigation Branch of the Ilocos Norte Police Office, identified the missing Korean as Coek Ho Lee, scuba diver, of Seoul, South Korea.
The beach in Pagudpud is called "Boracay of the North" because of its naturally white fine sand and is often visited by tourists.
