Their only common provenance is that they are held to have antedated the more dominant languages, particularly Tungusic and latterly Turkic languages that have largely displaced them.

Chukchee (also spelt 'Chukchi') is a language spoken by a few thousand people inhabiting the coastal and tundra regions of NE Siberia, in the USSR.
The language is the best-known representative of the small Chukokto-Kamchatkan language group, which itself is classed as a member of the Paleosiberian group, an areal designation for a handful of genetically isolated groups and languages.
The Chukotko-Kamchatkan group includes Koryak, Aljutor and Kerek (which is said to have died out recently).
