There are two Lost and Found facilities at the airport, one serving Alitalia passengers, and the other for all other passengers.
The airport is wheelchair accessible and has toilets available for passengers with impaired mobility, as well as the "Sala Amica" (Passenger Friendly Lounge), where disabled passengers can rest in comfort while waiting for their flight, with members of the Italian Red Cross in attendance.
The airport was named Falcone-Borsellino in honour of the two leading anti-mafia judges, Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, who were murdered by the mafia in the early 1990s

Palermo International Airport (IATA: PMO, ICAO: LICJ), also known as Falcone-Borsellino Airport and Punta Raisi Airport is located at Punta Raisi, 32km (19 miles) west of Palermo, the capital city of the Italian island of Sicily.
The airport was given the name Falcone-Borsellino in memory of the two leading anti-mafia judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino who were murdered by the mafia in 1992.
A 1.90m diameter plaque featuring their portraits can be found to the right of one the main outside entrance to the departure hall, set into a mosaic of Sicily.
