The International Solidarity Movement (ISM) was founded in 2001 by Adam Shapiro, a New York Jew, and his wife Huwaida Arraf, a Palestinian Christian along with the Israeli peace activist Neta Golan.
The organisation recruits civilians from Western countries to participate in accompaniment and acts of non-violent resistance against the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem.
The terms of the Convention couldn't be clearer: "The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies." The Israeli government is essentially colonizing the Occupied Territories....
