Paliam (പാലിയം) is an ancient Nair family from the Indian state of Kerala.
Paliam was the biggest joint Hindu family until partition in 1952.
An interesting aspect of the Paliam family is that even though they are a Nair family, all their religious rites are those of Kshatriyas.
