We have been going for more than 10 years now with Palmair (part of Bath Travel) and have never had a major problem.
On Thursday 1/9/05 we were picked up from the hotel at about 0820 to go to the airport.
Palmair didn't have to do anything at all.

We left Bournemouth right on time at 07:30 and arrived in Jersey early at 07:55, although the captain did bang the plane down on the runway at Jersey.
Palmair European was last year voted the 3rd best airline in the world and the best in the UK, and has this year again been nominated to be the world's best airline.

Mr Bath, who was at the airport on Thursday morning to give his customary personal send-off to passengers aboard the scheduled Palmair flight to the Canary Islands, stressed that the crisis at European would not affect his company's operations.
He said Palmair had previously bailed out the troubled charter firm (in 2002), and the Bath family had been involved, along with other unnamed investors, in an abortive deal to acquire European Aviation Air Charter and its fleet of aircraft.

 PPRuNe Forums - Palmair Go To Astraeus
Is it true that the Palmair operation at Bournemouth Airport is switching from the leased European Air Charter B-737-200's to Astraeus's B-737-300
I believe it will be a similar operation with aircraft, flight crew, operations & engineering supplied by Astraeus but aircraft painted up in Palmair colours with Palmair cabin crew onboard.
If this is true, I think the Palmair crew will be relieved to get off of those old 200 at long last!
