 Slake Archive - Pam McCutcheon
Growing up, Pam McCutcheon was imbued with a love of numbers, words, and the desire to be creative.
To utilize all three, she put her love of numbers to work as a computer programmer and industrial engineer for the Air Force (as enlisted, officer, and civilian successively); fulfilled her craving for words in reading the romance, science fiction, and fantasy novels she loves; and expressed her creativity in countless craft projects.
She soon discovered playing with words was a lot more fun than numbers and a great deal more gratifying creatively, so she gave up her job with the Air Force to concentrate on writing the kind of fun, romantic stories she loves to read.

 My Favorite Husband
Inspired by the Cary Grant and Irene Dunn movie My Favorite Wife, Pam McCutcheon's My Favorite Husband really fumbles the moment it waddles awkwardly from the starting line because the author either does not have the ability or is too lazy to address the issues in the main couple's relationship.
Instead, she cranks up the screwball antics, most of them at the expense of the dim-witted heroine.
It is not as if the author is not aware of how irresponsible he is and how he takes Kelly for granted, as Ms McCutcheon has Kelly half-heartedly trying to tell Chaz off in the middle parts of the book.
