		I have always been of the opinion that the correct lens for a panoramic format is the same as the normal lens for the related standard format.
		If on the other hand, you used the rule that the lens focal length should equal the diagonal of the format, you would be using about a 270.
		To me, this makes no sense because for most people, the reason for using a panoramic format is to get more of the scene horizontally.

		Chris/Larry: How about something like stitching together various digital images into a panoramic format.
		That is one of the things I think I'll be going back to film on, shooting panoramic.
		I have not tried to stitch anything together because whenever I wanted to do it I could do it in one shot.
