I started with one red paperclip on July 12 2005 and 14 trades later, on July 12, 2006 I traded with the Town of Kipling Saskatchewan for a house located at 503 Main Street.
Kipling's giant red paperclip is located just behind 503 Main Street in Bell Park, and can be enjoyed by children of all ages.

You can't do that - Outlook shows a paperclip icon if there are attachments.
In the end, I worked out that after removing the attachments from the message and saving them as files, I could re-attach them by reference - in other words, they are not stored in the folder, but Outlook still treats them as normal attachments.
So the paperclip symbol remains, and I can open them just the same as if they were still in the folder!
