This is an extremely rare decoration / award badge awarded by King Boris III to an extremely limited number of Bulgarian officers and other staff that has been on the first Bulgarian paratroopers training in the NAZI German / Germany allied FALLSCHIRM-INFANTERIE base at Braunschweig in 1942 and had returned to Bulgaria in 1943.
This badge belonged to one of these heroes and was bought from relatives about 10 years ago and remained ina private collection until now - offered for sale at VicMart.
