Geometry: Parallel Lines - Math for Morons Like Us
Parallel lines seem rather innocent, but are used in some complex geometry situations to help you solve problems.
If two lines are cut by a transversal, and the corresponding angles are congruent (congruent angles have the same measure), the lines are parallel.
If two lines are cut by a transversal so that interior angles on the same side of the transversal are supplementary, the lines are parallel.

Parallel postulate - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If a line segment intersects two straight lines forming two interior angles on the same side that sum to less than two right angles, then the two lines, if extended indefinitely, meet on that side on which the angles sum to less than two right angles.
A geometry where the parallel postulate cannot hold is known as a non-euclidean geometry.
Girolamo Saccheri (1667-1733) pursued the same line of reasoning more thoroughly, correctly obtaining absurdity from the obtuse case (because, with Euclid, he'd unwittingly assumed lines can be extended indefinitely and have infinite length); but failed to debunk the acute case (but managed to wrongly persuade himself that he had).

 Agate
Such agates, when cut transversely, exhibit a succession of parallel lines, often of extreme tenuity, giving a banded appearance to the section, whence such stones are known as banded agate, riband agate and striped agate.
The first deposit on the wall of a cavity, forming the "skin" of the agate, is generally a dark greenish mineral substance, like celadonite, delessite or "green earth," which are hydrous silicates rich in iron, derived probably from the decomposition of the augite in the mother-rock.
Many agates are hollow, since deposition has not proceeded far enough to fill the cavity, and in such cases the last deposit commonly consists of quartz, often amethystine, having the apices of the crystals directed towards the free space, so as to form a crystal-lined cavity or geode.

Driver Parallel Lines combines a respectable plot line with more traditional gameplay of the first titles in the series, although with a few noteworthy deviations.
The 1970s era has a slightly sepia tone to it and really hits the mark of an older car chase movie, while the modern day time period is represented by a vibrant full range of color, which is an excellent touch.
The voice acting runs the gamut from likable to bearable for the most part, and although the sound effects of the weaponry could be a bit meatier, the noises and screeches of the vehicles and damage more than make up for it.
