Thirty-one persons were injured when unidentified youths hurled crude bombs at a mosque in Parbhani in Marathwada region of Maharashtra.
The injured have been rushed to the civil hospital in Parbhani and a statewide alert has been sounded, Bhujbal said adding senior police officials, including Director General of Police S M Shangari and Special Inspector General of Police (Nanded Range) Bhimrao Raut, rushed to the spot.

Justices V K Barde and J A Patil upheld the arguments by the defence counsels that the prosecution had failed to prove that the two girls were indeed minors, that is, below sixteen years.
At best her consequent complaint could have been recorded as a suplementary statement to the FIR that she lodged on July 7,'' the judges said.
