 Parclo (Partial Cloverleaf) interchanges
A freeway parclo is essentially a cross between a full cloverleaf interchange and a stack interchange.
In the same vein as the road parclos, there are countless variations of freeway parclos, which are built to accommodate the lay of the land and adjacent man-made structures.
For most purposes, the freeway parclo has become the industry standard for connecting two freeways together, as it eliminates the limitations of the full-cloverleaf while not being as expensive and complex to build as the full stack interchange.

Parclo interchange - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Parclo A2 and B2 are commonly used on rural freeways such as the Highway 402 and Highway 416, where the ramps can be added without widening the street overpass/underpass to include deceleration lanes (normally needed on the A4 in order to safely enter the loop ramps that lead to the freeway).
However, as for cloverleaf interchanges between freeways, they are being unwound into partial stack interchanges or made safer with slip ramps as funds permit.
Various forms of parclo interchanges are used in the Philippines' North Luzon Expressway: a recently-modernized tollway.

 Freeway and Road Terms defined
A partial cloverleaf results when the loop ramps (or right-turning ramps) in a cloverleaf are replaced by flyover ramps, or ramps that intersect the other roadway at a right angle.
Parclos can exist for both freeway-freeway and freeway-road interchanges.
The left-turning movement on the main freeway is handled with a large semi-directional ramp that follows the arc of the loop ramp.

Rural Public Transportation Technologies: User Needs and Applications FR1-798
Modeling accidents to the small data sets for urban parclo and free-flow loop off-ramps and to urban outer connection off-ramps was particularly difficult given the erratic shape of their distributions as shown in appendix D. Loglinear regression models were applied to the accident data in this study.
Parclo loops (4.7 percent of the available data) and free- flow loops (7.9 percent) were grouped into a single loop/ramp category, due to mathematical difficulties in estimating the interaction term of the model.
The relative effects show that parclo loop ramps have the highest accident experience, followed by cloverleaf outer connection ramps, diamond ramps, free-flow loop ramps, and direct and semi-direct connection ramps.

 Design Scene - Chapter 9, Mn/DOT - OTS
As stated in the referenced section, the piece of transition curve should be long enough to provide acceleration/deceleration rates of 2 mph/sec desirable, 3 mph/sec maximum, and the ratio of the transition curve radius to the loop radius should not exceed 2:1.
The taper designs function effectively when used with high-speed ramps, but it is not as clear whether the use of the taper deceleration lane with low-speed ramps and loops is as safe and effective in that application.
Although there is no formal research available on the subject, the safety record of parclo ‘B’ and parclo ‘AB’ (folded diamond) interchanges featuring standard taper geometry suggests perception/reaction problems by drivers may be leading to run-off-the-road incidents on loops just past the exit terminal.

 The Cloverleaf
The "Parclo" Interchange: "Parclo" is short for "partial cloverleaf;" that's exactly what this interchange is. It's half cloverleaf, half diamond.
It only works at the intersection of a freeway and a local road (or, I guess, a local road and another local road.) Basically, the weaving on both highways is solved by eliminating two of the cloverleaf ramps, and replacing them with signalized intersections on the local roadway.
The interchange to the left is at the intersection of ON 407 and Britannia Road East, west of Toronto, Ontario.

High-level bridges were constructed at Hamilton Harbour (the Burlington Bay James N. In 1978, the familiar Stoney Creek traffic circle with Highway 20 Centennial Parkway was removed in favour of a conventional parclo interchange.
As part of the Red Hill Valley Parkway currently under construction, the Burlington Street and Centennial Parkway interchanges are currently being reconstructed, including the construction of collector lanes on the south (Niagara-bound) side of the highway.

 Three-way interchanges
It can also be used for a road terminating at a freeway.
It takes most of its design from the four-way parclo interchange; left-turning movements from the terminating freeway are handled by a single loop ramp, and left turning movements onto the terminating freeway are handled by a large semi-directional ramp that hugs the outer side of the one loop.
For low to medium traffic environments, the trumpet is usually a good design candidate as it is inexpensive to build because of its single bridge that grade-separates the ending ramps of the terminating freeway and the main freeway.

STS provided topographical and right-of-way surveying; highway drainage design; preparation of type, size and location plans for structures; complete structure plans for five bridges and several large culverts; preparation of right-of-way plats; and preparation of plans specifications and estimates for the entire project.
The design of the Route 336/Route 136 interchange included final design of the outer ramps of the Parclo interchange.
Special slope considerations were included in the eastern half of the project area where some deep cuts and high fills were necessary, in addition to the lake adjacent to the mainline roadway.
