On 19 November an A380 flew in full Emirates colors at the Dubai Air Show.
On 13 June 2006 Airbus announced in a press release that the A380 delivery schedule would undergo an additional "shift of six to seven months due to production ramp up issues." Although the first aircraft will be delivered before the end of 2006, deliveries in 2007 will be limited to only 9 aircraft.
Air France's order will arrive in 2007 and be used on the Paris to Montreal and New York routes.
