Park Hill is a housing estate in Sheffield, England.
The concept of the flats was described as "streets in the sky".
Park Hill was the site of the first large scale slum clearance in Britain, the previous back-to-back housing having been known as "Little Chicago" in the 1930s, due to the violent crimes sometimes committed there, and was partially razed before World War II.

New to board but thought Id chip in, Parkway is still open, if you drive up Duke Street up past Park Hill you take your second right, (not the entrance near the bus gate).
You drive past the doctors car park and follow the norrow road around under the first floor footway, you then have to turn left into another car park and the Parkway is at the end.
The Parkway is ok if you take it for what it is! (a run down pub in council flats) I''ve been in many times and it doesn't deserve to be listed as one of the roughest pubs in Britain!
