Originally the Park Orchards Chalet was built as a Club House for a Golf Country Club, which was completed in 1928 at a cost of two thousand pounds.
Became a Cabaret until 1956 when it commenced operating in its present form as the Park Orchard Chalet Restaurant & Reception Centre offering an International Buffet menu.
The Park Orchards Chalet operates on a booking bases so booking are essential.

Hertfordshire Orchard Initiative with the Hertfordshire Biological Records Centre is holding a survey of existing traditional orchards in the county and is helping their conservation, the result of which are still to be fully analysed.
The remaining orchard of apples, plums and cherries has been patiently restored by the Friends of Rivers Orchard who are keen that patients or residents should enjoy walking and lingering among the trees, where cowslips and orchids grow.

 Orchards Caravan Park , Yarmouth Campsite review
The weather was glorious for the whole 7 days so we used the outside pool every day,kids had a great time wth their inflatables and the pool was never too crowded,although we do holiday early July so not the busiest time.
The toilet blocks were very close to the tent area and are the some of the best I have ever come across,Private shower rooms with shower sink and toilet and also a family room with 2 showers.Excellent Laundry and washing up faclities too.
Nothing at all to do in the little village surrounding The Orchards but thats no prblem as nowhere is very far on The Isle of Wight.
