Wilderness Road State Park was purchased in 1993; the park is approximately 200 acres that lie astride the "Wilderness Road." Wilderness Road was carved by Daniel Boone in 1775 to open America’s first western frontier.
Most notable in the park are the Karlan Mansion, built in the 1870s, and Martin's Station, a replica of a fort built there in 1775.
Wilderness Road State Park is in a geographically and historically significant region of Virginia.

Park Road Post is a 110,000 square foot motion picture post production facility, located in Miramar, Wellington, New Zealand.
Formally The New Zealand Film Unit, the new facility was renamed Park Road Post upon completion in 2005.

Walking from Clapham Road, the northern boundary of Stockwell Park Road, on the eastern side of the road the houses are numbered from 1 to 31.
Crossing at Lorn Road leads to the adventure playground which is part of the Slade Gardens park, and then the houses are numbered from 75 to 89.

This park is one of the ecological treasures of the San Francisco Bay Area.
The park may be accessed by vehicle from either the Danville area (Mount Diablo Scenic Boulevard) or the Walnut Creek area (North Gate Road).
The tower was constructed during the late 1930's of fossiliferous sandstone blocks quarried in the park.

The "road" tells the story of four distinct historic eras: Early Trails and Military Roads (pre-1800: Nemacolin's Trail and Mingo's Path), Construction of the National Road (1806-1835), Toll Road Era (1836-1900) the road is turned over to individual states, and the Automobile Era (1900s), when automobile touring becomes a popular pastime.
It was the National Road that opened up land west of the Alleghenies and allowed a budding nation to expand its boundaries into the new territories.

The 27 mile Park Loop Road is the primary avenue for navigating through Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island by vehicle.
Much of the road is one way but there is a two way section that begins near Wildwood Stables so keep this in mind.

Initiated to determine whether a sustainable, safe, and low-maintenance off-road cycling trail can be established in Wirth Park in a manner that protects natural resources, challenges off-road cyclists, and is compatible with other park uses, this trail was approved as a pilot project by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board in April 2004.
Developing suburban parks have been able to accommodate the new sport, but urban parks, established long before off-road cycling would come into its own, have been tailored for a host of other, long-existing uses.
Park users who use the area to bike, hike, walk, jog, etc. were counted and surveyed prior to the beginning of the project, and they will be counted and surveyed again at the end.

When used as part of the road course, the oval was run clockwise, opposite the normal direction, providing unusual banking in the turns.
